What Is A Database?

A database is a collection of information that has been checked by an expert to make sure that it is accurate, up to date and reliable. It has been arranged so that it is easy to search. Many databases are created using a print resource. For example, the World Book Online is the same as the World Book Encyclopedia found in a library.

This is a place that a child or adult can search safely while being guaranteed correct information.
